Made it to Camano Island, Washington...

Survived another day in the busy sea of cages on the interstate. Oh how I very much am glad the interstate is almost finished. The ride went pretty well but I'm just eager to be surrounded my scenery versus cars and simi-trucks.

Below are the few photo I snapped on the trip yesterday...

There they are, wondering whatss taking me so long... I have not yet noted that the reason my bike looks pregnant is because, in addition the motorcycle gear, I am also carrying all my backpacking gear (and of course my grizzly proof bear canister). I aim on the journey to not only enjoy the road but also trails at certain point along the way .

Hmmmmm will I really get my first rain today... ALREADY???????????

I tighted the heal shifter back on but it decided to loosen again, not the bolts but the shifter itself... Ducktape is great for backpackers but too messy for bikers...This  is why ZIP-TIES are a bikers friend....  Aaron's suggest to loose the heal shifter is a wise one, though it seems I need a space to hold the toe shifter tight before I can do that...

The new Radio, once I got it tightened up too was very nice to have. All in all The bike is doing great, it was and is expected that I will be dealing with small "fix-its" and comfort changes for the next 1000ish miles....

Anyhow gunna get off the computer now and may not update for a couple days.... Don't forget to let me know your reading, this blog junk takes a loooong time and I need the moral support of hearing back from ya'll.... Of course it'll be easier to respond once the trip leave the interstate and the true adventure begins...

  3. I say remove the heel shifter completely and send it home. You just need to toe one. Looks like a good time. Sorry about the rain, yet it Wa! Enjoy the ride.
